Insurance sales and financial advisor CV example
Insurers and brokers check two things fast: are you qualified to give advice, and can you sell. Make both obvious.
Put your regulatory status near the top
For advice roles, list your status clearly so a recruiter doesn't have to guess:
- RE5: passed (with the year), or "writing in (month)".
- Qualification: the recognised qualification you hold or are studying for, and any class of business training.
- Classes of business / products: e.g. short-term personal lines, long-term risk, funeral, investments.
- Experience under supervision, if you're still completing it.
Requirements differ by role and product. Check the advert and your employer's compliance team for exactly what applies to you.
